Common Design
Louvre Valves square shaped and fits vertically or horizontally into flue gas ducts. It consists of three to eight louvres which can be set to any position between 0° and 90° and which open alternately clockwise and anticlockwise. A remote indicator is mounted on the outside of the frame to show the position of each individual louvre. Operation is effected via a geared motor and a set of levers. The opening, resetting, and closing of Gas Control Valves and Dampers may be effected by remote control, or automatically by means of the electric motors. In each case a signal is automatically transmitted to a central control panel showing the gate position. Valves are constructed from steel spinnings protected by a polyester powder gloss white finish. Flanges are fitted with sealing gaskets and all units are supplied as standard with plated steel mounting subframes.
