The Band Dryers are perhaps the most popular dryers which is why they have been in use in many industries ranging from food, chemicals to pharmaceuticals, etc. for several years.
The dryer is 4 section 3 deck jet ventilated 3.0 meters width dryer-2750 mm in band width, 8 meters in drying length, 1.25 meter cooling section, 0.75 meter feeding side, 0.8 meter discharge side and 3100 mm in height.
The dryer is fitted with propeller type high pressure dynamically balanced aluminium fans having jet nozzles for top and bottom of each deck throughout the length of the machine which is also equipped with latest type heating batteries and jet boxes. The machine is also perfectly insulated its side covering being insulated with heat resisting insulated layer 100 mm thick all round rendering the same absolutely leak-proof so as to ensure optimum conservation and effective and uniform play of heat inside the machine as per design and complete with dynodrive gear box, motors, and other necessary accessories. The band dryers find wide application in drying food, chemical and mineral products, where drying is required on a continuous basis. Several configurations are available to suit the individual application. Drying is effected by circulation of hot air through a bed of material as it is carried through the dryer on a conveyor band. The drying enclosure is divided into a number of drying sections each including an air heater and circulating fan together with fresh air inlet and exhaust facilities. The band dryers are specifically designed to suit the application and take into account the industry's requirements for hygiene, accessibility and efficiency. All our dryers are of modular design to optimise drying efficiency, give precise temperature control in each zone, reduce installation time and to facilitate future extensions. The range of band dryers include: single-pass, single-pass-multi-stage and multi-pass band dryers. Continuous conveyorised band coolers, air jet conveyor band dryers and continuous tempering are also available. Heating systems can be either steam, gas, oil (indirect) or electric. The brand dyers combine hygienic design with good access for cleaning and maintenance. Features include: stainless steel contact parts, access doors on each side of a drying section, minimum interior crevices/ledges, combined static and moving guide rails for maximum product retention and product transfer points fitted with discharge chutes for minimum spillage. Internal/external construction to suit client specification; clean line external appearance with self draining services; internal/external finish to suit client specification. Drying efficiency is maximised by the use of: upwards/downwards airflow, double skin insulated panels, effective sealing of dryer enclosure, even air distribution, variable speed conveyor drives and air recycle. Feed systems available: oscillating belt, oscillating rake, vibratory and apron feeders. Also granulators and extruders. Special features can be incorporated to suit application: Integral or separate cooling section to suit product temperature. Continuous collection of fines, explosion venting, heat recovery, exhaust air clean up, cleaning brushes, band scrapers and washers or full C.I.P. Modular control panels are pre-wired for installation.
