Carousel Dryers

The Carousel Dryers were popular in the late 80’s and 90’s but thousands are still in use. They are based on desiccant bead technology but instead of the beads being contained in dual stationary beds, the beads are contained in three tanks mounted on a rotating turntable. These dryers have the same high-energy usage disadvantages as dual bed dryers. They have even higher maintenance requirements because of the multitude of moving parts and seal failure. 6 sleeves can be dried at the same time now with the Carousel Dryers. The hot-air drying system, in combination with the rotation of the sleeves, guarantees an excellent equal drying. The door for entering and removing te sleeves is kept small, which prevents the loss of hot air. The control panel has 6 timers and indicators. When a sleeve is ready, the corresponding timer indicator lights up. After selecting the number, the right station will stop behind the door.
