Centreless screw conveyor

In general, Centreless Screw Conveyor, (often referred to as a Spiral Conveyor or Shaftless Screw Conveyor), is designed mainly for handling difficult materials. Material is conveyed by a shaftless screw or shaftless spiral with no intermediate or end bearings ensuring obstacle-free conveying. Centreless screw conveyors can be specified in either horizontal, inclined or vertical options and can provide high quality conveying up to very long distances – single troughs can be up to 50m in length. Capabilities of up to 200 cubic metres/hour are available.

Usability of Centreless Screw Conveyor in industries

  • Wastewater treatment
  • Industrial waste product treatment
  • Pulp and paper
  • Vegetable and waste food
  • Sewage sludge
  • Chemical industry
  • Biomass

Innovative design features include the omission of a central shaft which allows higher filling rates and low speeds, making the Centreless Screw Conveyor highly efficient with less wear and consequently less maintenance. Additionally, uncomplicated operation with no end or intermediate bearings facilitates efficient and direct transfer of material and reduced requirement for major maintenance work.

Highly abrasive materials including gravel, sand, cinders, crushed rock and other materials with large or mixed size particles including wood chips, biomass and paper are also handled with ease. Bulk handling industries mainly delas with Centreless Screw Conveyor..

Why industries use Centreless Screw Conveyor..?

  • Lower Investment
  • Unique in design
  • Used with many handling materials
