Flap Gate Valve is a valve fitted with a hinged flap or disk that swings in one direction only. These are designed specifically for long life in handling abrasive materials while maintaining a positive seal against pressure and vacuum in dust collectors and other process equipment.This valve provides a non-wearing seal, and will operate flawlessly under all types of continuous process conditions, including applications with extreme temperature ranges, abrasive, corrosive materials and medium-pressure differentials.

Flap gate valves are regularly used for applications to handle, pulp in pulp mill, slurries, powder such as coal, ash, dry and wet powder in power houses, pneumatic conveying systems, dust collecting systems and material handling equipments.
