Gravel Pumps

Gravel Pump is used to pump slurry that is mixture of water and sand or gravel to strip overburden or to send pay gravel slurry to the recovery system such as sluice box or jig.It is a centrifugal pump with renewable impellers and lining, used to pump a mixture of gravel and water.

The gravel pump for dredging is made simple but effective, so it can be repaired in the field, reducing the down-time to minimum. Only one type is called dredging gravel pump

Application and versatility

Gravel pumps is designed specifically for continuous pumping of extremely aggressive slurries, with a wide particle size distribution. Capable of handling large particles at consistently high efficiencies results in low cost of ownership. The large volume internal profile of the casing reduces associated velocities further increasing component life.
