Hopper Scales

Hopper Scales also known as weigh hoppers or weigh bins and weigh silos are common for many industrial sites. Most types of products are stored in bins, hoppers, or silos before transfer to a mixer or a transport vehicle and using a weighing system enables accurate monitoring and management of the product while in the bin or silo.By installing a weigh hopper or installing load cells under an existing hopper control in transfer of product around site can be achieved, either using a simple weigh indicator with some batching functionality or using a batching software package. Weigh bins and weigh silos ensure good product traceability as well as improve mixing accuracy.

Hopper Scales measure the weight of materials used in the hopper weighing electronic weighing by the weighing bucket, brackets, pneumatic valves, the composition of the high precision weighing sensors, junction boxes, signal cable, and intelligent weighing indicator.Hopper scales are the perfect fit and solution for agriculture customers.Hopper scales are all designed as flexible solutions to carrying out operations that involve weighing a continous flow of products. These hopper scales are designed to function in the wet and hazardous environment in food processing plants.Hopper scales are mainly, but not exclusively, used in grain silos all over the world for the intake and outloading of more or less free flowing bulk products such as grains, sugar, salt, fertilizers etc.

Hopper Scales are designed for weighing a continuous product flow into batches for packing and other purposes. The unit consists of a stainless steel hopper, Load Cells, and a weighing indicator. The Hopper Scale is controlled by a software application. The scale is robust and designed to withstand the harsh environment of food processing plants, without any trade-off in weighing accuracy.
