Push Floor Conveyors

The Push Floor Conveyor is a simple machine consisting of a series of hydraulically driven push frames or ladders that reciprocate along the bunker floor. Each push frame is located on bearing beams running the length of the installation; they terminate at a cross beam to which the hydraulic cylinders are attached. The cylinder action pushes, or pulls, the material towards one end of the bunker; the material normally passes beneath an adjustable stopper gate then falls into a metering Screw Conveyors for discharge. Conveyors are kept full by the action of the push frames thereby allowing accurate material metering. The push floor conveyor can also discharge directly into a screw feeder, screw or Belt Conveyors.
