Sand Screener

Sand Screener provides an effective solution to one of the major economic problems. It not only eliminate the need to dispose of waste sand, but also solves pollution related problems at the source. A sand screener reuses waste foundry sand bonded with organic resins or green molding sand bonded with bentonite. It guarantees that only clean fumes are discharged into the outer air. The system is reusing the sand in all phases of the process. By using a sand screener is will cut operating costs, automatic operation and no supervision, a fast return on investment, and the quality of regenerated sand is new.

Design and Operation

A sand screener is designed to retain the material at the feed end for a longer period of time then gently slops near the discharge end assisting the material off the screening deck and into production. This is achieved by the screener’s unique parallel-arc configuration. Crossbars support the end-tensioned screens and create a flat screening surface maximizing the screening area.

The end-tensioned screens used in the high frequency screener simplify changing screen panels. End tensioning permits the use of square-opening and slotted screens and is accurately maintained by a spring-loaded draw bar. Users can make screen changes in 10-15 minutes.
