Screw Weighing Systems

Screw Weighing System is mainly suitable for measuring and controlling the quantity of the powdery and fine-granular materials. And it adopts the high precision hanging weighing transducer, has high accuracy, easy installation, simple structure and good sealing performance. Moreover, it can lock air and materials, ensure steady flow, measurement and quantitative control when faced with easy flow material.

Screw weighing systems as complete systems or retrofit existing screws by fitting a weighframe, special pivots and a speed sensor. The equipment is then connected to a suitably designed set of electronics to compute mass flow rate and bulk totalisation. The systems can be used to control prefeeders such as rotary valves.

A typical screw weighing systems showing an extraction screw above and a weighscrew below, on a common support plinth. In this example the application was for feed control of cement bypass dust from 0 to 3000kg/hr.

Applications

  • In cement industry, measure bulk cement
  • In cement industry, process of secondary coal blending and mixing pulverized fuel ash.
  • In power industry, measure process of pulverized fuel ash.
  • In others industries, with similar process.
