Tangential Rotary Valves

Tangential Rotary Valves are used for coarse bulk material and granulate. The offset inflow, which connects to the rotor virtually tangentially, forces the bulk material from the deflector. That prevents the bulk material becoming stuck between the cell-wheel and housing, protects the bulk material and prevents the bulk material corn being destroyed.

Dependent on the design, tangential rotary valves are suitable for the continuous metering of different types of dust, fine grains, chips or coarse grains. The bulk material must be dry with good conveying and flow properties. Because the rotor is precision-finished to the correct tolerances, rotary valves have the maximum possible sealing integrity as well as end plates that are adjustable from the outside.
