Vibrating Packers

Vibrating Packers gently compact material in a container to increase net contents per container, permit the use of smaller containers for the same net contents and/or to strengthen and add rigidity to a container for safe stacking and handling.

Two standard models with a wide range of deck sizes are offered along with custom designs. The bolt-down model mounts directly to the floor, isolating the vibrating deck from the base with precision rubber springs.

The float base model features a floating dead mass intermediate base between the deck and bottom base. This dissipates the spring reaction and enables the packer to be mounted directly onto a scale platform while protecting the scale from reactive forces.

Common vibrating packers accommodate up to 4,500 lbs.

Operations

The vibratory packer is equipped with two-speed bulk and dribble fill, utilizing a high-speed electronic controller interfaced to a two-speed, belt vibratory feeder with multiple settings. The product is pre-weighed in a weigh bucket with a volume of 1 to 2 ½ cubic feet. When the bag is placed on a fill spout, the dump doors will open and discharge the pre-weighed material into the bag. The doors will then automatically close and the weighing cycle will begin again.
