Bottom Agitated Mixers

Bottom Agitated Mixers are used for rapid and uniform incorporation of dry and liquid ingredients. These mixers create a deep vortex, exposing dry ingredients directly into the agitator blades. These are standard agitator for bakery applications. They are ideal for soluble, dry ingredients that want to float on the surface.

Working Principles

Agitator speeds are approximately 430 rpm maximum and can be furnished with single or two speed electric drives and variable electric or hydraulic drives, ranging from 1 to 20 hp and impeller diameters from 12 to 24” o.d.

Adjustable baffles can be provided for a vigorous blending action, but will reduce vortex action.
