Crane Weighing Systems
Crane Weighing Systems

Crane Weighing Systems are battery operated and suspended from the crane hook for sensing the weight. These are fixed type crane weighers where the electronics is mounted permanently on top of the crane and operated using the crane power supply. The equalising pulley is supported by load cells using suitable mounting assembly.

The load cell mounting assembly is designed to prevent overload or tranverse loading of the load cell as well as lift-off protection. As the operating temperature is high, suitable temperature protection is also provided.

Application

The crane weighing system is designed to weigh the ladle at the upper sheave assembly to measure amount of liquid metal while pouring into a furnace. This will improve the yield as well as the end point control. High temperature load cells and rope weight compensation facility gives accurate results.

Features

  • Wireless operation.
  • Overload and torque protected, temperature compensated loadcell.
  • Integrated motion controller.
