GMA Pallet

GMA is an acronym for Grocery Manufacturers of America. GMA Pallets are the most common type of Recycling Pallets and are often called grocery pallets and measure 48" long by 40" wide with notched stringers to allow side as well as front entry. There is no industry standard for a GMA pallet specification.

Of the top Pallets used in North America, the most commonly used by far is the Grocery Manufacturers' Association (GMA) pallet, which accounts for 30% of all new wood pallets produced in the United States. The ISO also recognizes the GMA pallet footprint as one of its six standard sizes.
