Immersion heaters are used in applications that require the heater to be immersed in the substance to be heated. Most flange and screw plug immersion heaters have a protective sheath or sleeve that covers the heating elements.

Types

Screw Plug Immersion Heaters

Immersion heaters allow you to heat liquids directly. Screw-plug heaters are ideal for industrial tanks, vessels & process piping.

Flanged Immersion Heaters

Flanged immersion heaters are designed for use in tanks and pressurized vessels, they are easy to install and maintain are one of the most widely used methods for heating gases and liquids.

Over-the Side Immersion Heaters

Over-the-side immersion heaters are designed for installing in the top of a tank with the heated portion directly immersed along the side or at the bottom. This provides easy removal of the heater and ample working space inside the tank.
