'''Single Lane Spiral Conveyor''' is a proven reliable concept in vertical conveying designed to conserve valuable floor space. It is of the chain slat type, incorporating a proprietary low friction guide system. The guide system includes precision low friction steel bearings and the chain is of heavy duty chrome plated steel construction. The guide rails are made of polyurethane embedded in an extruded aluminium profile. The slats are of moulded reinforced polycarbonate.
Single lane spiral conveyor loads up or down in a continuous flow, thereby facilitating high throughput. The standard load capacity is 50 kg per meter of conveyor for speeds up to 60 meter per minute.  The single lane spiral conveyors need only one motor, even for units several stories tall. This equals to substantial savings in control and systems integration. Single lane spiral conveyors have the smallest footprint available and therefore provide substantial space savings compared to conventional methods. Several standard sizes are available and the outside diameter varies depending on the size of loads to be handled.
==Features==
* Small footprint
* One drive
* Low friction
* Built in protection
* Overlapping slats
* Easy to install
* Low maintenance
==Application==
There are multiple applications for which a single lane spiral conveyor is suitable for example: bags, bundles, totes, trays, pales, cans, bottles, containers, wrapped and unwrapped items.
The single lane spiral conveyors are able to work in several types of industries: food industry, beverage industry, newspaper industry, petfood & humancare industry.
