Spiral Screw Classifiers are also called the spiral classifier. There are mainly four types of classifiers, namely high weir single spiral classifier, high-weir dual spiral classifier, sinking single spiral classifier and sinking dual spiral classifier.

Spiral Screw Classifiers

Features

  • Simple structure
  • Reliable operation
  • Convenient maintenance
  • Low cost
  • High efficiency

Operation

According to the principle that different particle sizes with different proportion have certain terminal velocity, the fine particles float on the water and overflow out while the coarse particles sink to the bottom and then they will be pushed upward and discharged. The powders will be filtered, with the substandard particles screwed into the feeding port by the spiral vanes and the fine ones discharged from the overflow pipe. The head of the screw axis and the shaft adopt the pig iron cover, which is wear-resisting and durable. There are manual and electric lifting devices separately.
